Shiran Zaray-Mizrahi is a contemporary painter and illustrator based in Beit Shemesh, Israel, where she lives with her husband and five children.
Born in Beersheva, Israel, she grew up in South Africa and later lived in New York, where she studied Illustration at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
Specializing in oil paintings on canvas, she is known for her emotive depictions of figures in textured, sun-lit landscapes and other works exploring the presence of the Divine and the voice of the soul in today’s world.
Shiran’s work blends figurative representations with abstract spiritual concepts, exploring the human condition and the relationship between humanity and the Creator.
Her work has been exhibited at venues including the Jerusalem Theater, the Artists House in Beit Shemesh, and Neve Yerushalayim College for Women in Jerusalem, and is collected in Israel and abroad.

I love this painting so much that I had it shipped from Israel to New York. It arrived in perfect condition, and is even more beautiful in person. We hung it in our kitchen as a reminder to always keep Israel and its brave soldiers in our hearts and prayers.
