Impression in Time

This piece was created during lockdown, coinciding with the year of my sister’s wedding in America, as I observed the joyous occasion from across the globe. That year I gained a newfound appreciation for the Impressionist movement that had eluded me during my earlier years as an artist. Simultaneously, I found myself cherishing my family more profoundly than ever before, resulting in this painting capturing the essence of a radiant day spent in the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. A joyous recollection woven from cherished past moments and the promise of inspiring ones yet to come.
